Character select screen expression change

So I just noticed that my lvl 43 summoner's facial expression on the character select screen has changed. She no longer has that squint-eyed smile. She just has a blank stare same as in game. The posture is still the same (hands behind back) and the little hand motion when you first select her is also the same. 

 

Is this intentional or a bug of some sort? Does it change at a certain level or story quest? Anyone else notice a difference?

EDIT: And now that I look at it, my FM isn't smiling anymore either. Seems my expressions on character select are broken? Any idea on how to fix this?

I noticed the same thing, only recently.  All of my characters' faces seem to be frozen.  They don't even blink or anything.  Some info or a fix would be nice
