NCLauncher Error Fix

What I did :

 

1.  download BnS_Lite_Installer.exe
2. Find C:\Program Files(x86)\NcWest folder and delete it
3. run the BnS_Lite_Installer.exe
   • The installer will delete any remaining files
   • close out the installer
4. Run CCleaner registry cleaner to make sure things are cleared out
5. run the BnS_Lite_Installer.exe
   • This will create a new NCwest folder and registry keys
   • When prompted for an installation Directory, choose where BnS is already installed
   • Add a short cut to desktop when prompted and click finish
6. Launch the game
   • If everything was done correctly the new ncLauncher will find the current game installation
   • Click play
   • verifying fliles
   • game begins
7. Splash screen appears
   • Enjoy

   So effectively what you're doing is refreshing the NCWest folder?

Yes and I think you should check also if you are using the correct client :)

I've been relentlessly battling the client for the past two days, to no avail. The most irritating part is the fact that it's probably just one or two music files that are failing to download. Sits on the remaining 2.7 MB (like what 1-2% left?) and keeps on throwing out error messages.
