Grace Period Suggestion

I think players should be given a grace period so that they *switch* characters. Just wanted to quickly go on my BM to check something real quick tonight only to find myself stuck in queue =\

 

Also I don't have these problems, but what if a player's internet trips for a few seconds? Or the game stops responding and crashes? I don't think that should make said player have to wait in a long queue to get back in.
