nCrazed
Greetings, There have been multiple active beta threads [1],[2] with requests to remove GameGuard for western version of the game; Like it was done for Western launch of Aion. There's yet to be any official response on the topic. For many companies it is still financially not fesible to officially support Linux and that's understandable. But wine has improved greatly over last few years to a point where many games without explicit Linux support run flawlessly on it. This is also true for the actual game client of BnS (as is show by the unofficial Russian localisation). With that in mind, can we get an official comment on the topic? Has the option of dropping or replacing GameGuard for Western version been considered? Is there anything that is being done to address the issue? Let us know! Even if it's just to inform us of the fact that nothing is going to change any time soon and those of us not willing to install Windows just to play this game should move on to other games. Thanks, nCrazed

Phoenix4
Has GameGuard ever worked ? I remember it on Lineage II being a joke. Please consider trashing it , you are just losing money NC West.
nCrazed
Quote Has GameGuard ever worked ? I remember it on Lineage II being a joke. It appears that it's raising the bar for running bots in this game only high enough so that people who are able to only google for and run off-the-shelf solutions will not be able to do so. But for people/organisations with more determination and experience it appears to be business as usual.
