I tried to uninstall then its won't let me update and Error said:

[Update Error] cannot download file.

please restart the launcher. if this problem persists. contact customer support

Also your problem is different error code player1234, you dont have the same problem the 2 of us have.

idk if it will help, but i just persisted and kept downloading the update patch. when it says play now, I press it. its working now i believe. the BNS logo showed up.

yeah mine finally worked as well. Though since Im on mushin, theres only 1492 players ahead of me now...
