  1. Wow didn't expect the change coming in the patch notes directly Thanks a lot, PvP will be so much better now 😃
  2. To be honest with you: nope I don't know a single player spending a long time just to adjust gcd values or macro delays. I knew exactly one in UE3 times, but he quit the game by now already (like multiple other people I used to play with together). I don't think spending time in f12 to learn their class to get higher parses (which they definitely can be proud of, since it proves their class knowledge) is only "ego" either, it's imo the same process as gearing up. And I also don't know anyone who cheats in PvP just to be higher in a ladder for ego reasons, you can see it already in Aerodrome, there are maybe 2-3 tryhard groups since they enjoy competing, but the majority of the players don't care about that ladder at all (so many people have the gear and knowledge for 61+ but don't even try).
  3. Yes it would punish all players, but I would rather not get any rewards at all myself than further play this pure cancer called PvP. RU removed Hongmoon Coins as a countermeasure to this long ago already. In general NCSoft showed time and time again, that they are not doing anything against people cheating (KissDio or inaxx how he is called in NA is one of the best examples, multi clienting with 10+ accounts at the same time, speedhacking on every single one of them, manipulating 6v6 matches so his chars get ranked for hmc, killing clients to prevent losses and to top it off he survived so many reports without any kind of punishment). Do you actually want to enjoy PvP, or try to endure the state of the game for some measly rewards? The easiest solution would be to go the way RU went long ago and remove the Hongmoon Coin rewards from PvP. In my case I'd welcome getting no rewards from PvP anymore, but considerably changing the state of the game for the better by not giving people an incentive to cheat (especially after everyone knows, that NCSoft is not banning anyone, no matter how much or obvious they cheat).
  4. The state of the game currently is insanely sad. Out of 9 games I played in Nova Core today f.e. 8 had at least 1 obvious Speedhacker in the enemy team. My own team had multiple speedhacker too. Arena is wintrading, since queue is dead way before you could even get close to the top ranks. It also involves a lot of infinite ground counter XML for sins or no gravity cheat for astromancers simply parsing you from the air while you're on the ground unable to do anything. 3v3 is even worse and contains wintrading even in the lowest ranks. In 6v6 people kill either in lobby, in loading screen or rejoin after the game to avoid loosing any rating and thus easily pushing high ranks without any risk of losing. Even Tower of Infinity contains the usage of the infamous tool (f.e. 0.5 time of warlock strat). Challenge Mode involves the vehicle skills to skip rotation (and obviously speeding to block orbs) to save multiple seconds per phase. This obviously happens for one reason: Hongmoon Coins If you can't get the AntiCheat right and prevent cheating the easiest and best solution would be to remove Hongmoon coin rewards from all the ladders. People would play PvP because they would want to play PvP and not for the season reward (sure it would be less active, but that would still be 100 times better than the current state of PvP). Replace it with something bound to the character who played (like f.e. the fusion stones already), so people have less of an incentive to cheat. But with the current state of PvP or ladders in general I can understand people quitting this game the second they even touch PvP.
