*Why are vials, pet packs, etc. still available in the 5th Anniversary tab?*

Not only me, but many people were under the impression that those weekly account limited items would no longer be purchaseable, the same way you guys always take them out as you have for past events when a new event comes out. I have used all these tokens up on a stupid raffle that I don't care about that I'm not going to win, and on mats I don't need, when I could have saved them for things I actually need in the game, like the Silversteel Ores, Vials, Pet Packs and Fusion Stones?

Don't try to appease me with a "well, we didn't say that we were taking them out" kind of cover up. Be consistent in how you're going to have those sorts of weekly limit mats then. And communicate that with people, if there's going to be a change for once, so they can make educated and informed decisions about how they want to use those event currencies.

This is just a game, I get it. But when I invest my time and energy into a game, and to grind for those event currencies, I want to know my options when I'm using them. If you say something is ending, then end it. By your own words:

    • Fifth Year Festival Event has now ended.
    • Festival Coins have been removed from Login rewards, Primeweald, Daily and Weekly Quests.

Now I'm getting shafted. And what is the point in using a restoration token, for the sake of an event currency? And because of the extended week of the event, I don't even know if they can restore the ones I used.

I am so so so bothered by this. Like, really. I'm legitimately playing the game, grinding as I should, and then get taken out at the knees and have to deal with another stupid event that isn't even giving us vials. Meanwhile you guys nerf the drop rates of evo stones wherever we can get them, prices in f5 are hugely inflated, and you aren't doing anything to rectify that. The whales keep getting whale and everyone else is getting shanked. Then you decapitate the whales who actually play the game, not even the ones who cheat and buy and pilot their way to the tops of ladders. Thanks a lot, nice to see how you guys care about your player base.  If you're trying to get people to quit so you can shut down, then just shut down the servers.

  2. Testing to see if I can at least get @Hime or @Sunshine to read this and send it up to ncsoft kr. :tired::embarrassed::tears:

Would be happy to hear their thoughts about this too, or any information they can give about ncsoft’s plans that aren’t just speculation due to sales performance like in the YouTube vids being made about why people are quitting.

Just leave the game tbh. They stopped listening to players' feedbacks long time ago. They will continue ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ something up and introducing more p2w items for whales.

I only joined the game five months ago, I have barely scratched the surface in terms of content and enjoyability. I don’t want to stop so soon, I’ve managed to find an amazing community with the clan I’ve joined and want to keep building my toons.

  4. Hey Blade and Soul devs and the ncsoft team

Why did you decide to change servers that perform worse than the servers that existed before? Not just for me, but I know multiple players whose ping increased by anywhere between 50-150ms. Some ppl decreased due to sheer proximity to the server... but when you have multiple classes that are extremely ping dependent, and an action-adventure martial art game that need good performance, why are you not doing more to fix this?

Moreso than the way that the bamboo village exploit was dealt with, or -to be honest- the lack of exciting new content for long term players, this is the single biggest complaint that I know of.

It is sad to see so many people angry in the forums. It can’t be fun for the team at your head offices to deal with the onslaught of complaints. It is disheartening as a relatively new player to see the game dying. But this is honestly preventable if only you’d fix the issues you know there are in the game performance and optimization.

The new server and the latest patches have made it so I crash pretty consistently in the game. I play 64-bit, no mods, no add ons, using your launcher. There are multiple bugs in regular dungeons, including but not limited to Koldraks Lair, Brood Chamber, and Warped Citadel. You know these things, and rather than fixing them you prefer to put out new outfits instead?

Please reconsider your priorities, as a game developer and to your player base. There are players that would stick around, or would come back, if only the game worked well enough that playing was not a slog. What’s the point of playing a challenging game, if the performance itself makes it infinitely more difficult and ultimately unpleasant to play? I find it difficult to justify spending real money in game if I know the payoff for gear upgrades are not going to be maxed just because my ping is bad and therefore my dps, no matter how high my crit is, is halved because I just can’t hit the boss enough times to reach a higher damage output.

It's a really bad idea to OC a laptop. Laptops usually don't have any thermal headroom for that and it's really easy to cause permanent damage.

Sounds like Hard Drive issue to me, If your laptop is old, it might be Hard Drive is dying, I've tried to search your model in Google but I found few different variants under that name with + - same hard ware, SSD (Solid State Drive) is what you need in MMO games.

Blade and Soul is badly optimised game so you will need much more powerful Computer/Laptop to run it in "enjoyable" level. You can try do some Blade and Soul Optimisations yourself and see if it improves your game play in any way, however Your Laptop is in between Low-End and Mid-End Tier, So don't expect magic to happen.

This optimisation "Might" be able to solve some of your problems, You can do this Optimisation in 32-Bit and 64-Bit, it works for both. however if beautiful effects and beautiful world is your number 1 thing, then this might not bring much of enjoyment since it comes with a cost, however in game like Blade and Soul with bad optimisation, Performance > Over everything. Also this method does modification to the gaming client and you know how modifications goes in EULA - (USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK)

I appreciate the info, it is a couple of years old but I customized it to perform well for pretty advanced software for architecture school that requires pretty good graphics capabilities which is why I'm so confused.
I'll try tweaking it for optimisation, but I don't need the beautiful effects, I just want these load times and lags to go away haha.

  6. Hi all!

I'm looking for a friendly competitive clan to join. I'm currently in a social clan, and while that's great, I'd love to get the additional perks of being in a competitive clan. I also feel like it'd be easier to get party members to join up to go through dungeons and such.

Any recommendations of where I can join up?

    Thanks!

  7. Hey all,

I've been trying to troubleshoot how to run BnS better on my laptop, and could use some advice!

    I'm playing on:

    XPS 15 9550

    Intel(R) Core i7-6700HQ 2.6 GHz processor, 16Gb RAM

    Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M

    My main issues are this:

Of course, super laggy graphics and load times. Dungeons run so slowly and it makes me nearly useless when playing, needing to be carried even though I'm advancing my character pretty well. The load time when entering the dungeon is so long that often the dungeon is 1/3-1/2 done and I can't catch up.

I have updated all my drives. Maybe I will try overclocking next, but my laptop can get pretty hot already so I'm not super into this idea. When I go into my task manager while the game is running, the CPU and Memory and running pretty high.

I'm not sure what to do! I just want to enjoy the game, but I go into dungeons embarrassed and a little ashamed I can't keep up with the party. Thankfully I've been playing with some people who are so nice and patient, but others that are not at all.

    Thanks for any advice!

  8. I know there are countless vids and stuff about best methods to upgrade weapons....but I don't even have a center "upgrade" tab on my manage equipment screen to actually update anything.

Are upgrade paths only available to specific weapons? Or did I miss a tutorial quest somewhere to unlock this option up for me? Is it only available once you reach a certain level (I'm 39 Soul Fighter).

    Any help would be appreciated!
