Transferring weapon illusion appearance

I want to change Riftwalk Staff over to Raven Staff. If I do, will Cherry Bloom Illusion appearance change that's on my current weapon 

carry over to the new Raven weapon or will I have to buy a new Illusion weapon from the store to use for the new weapon?

Has anyone tried this? Thanks for any help.

Never mind I figured it out. Illusion appearance can be separated out from main weapon 

in the alter appearance section if you want to transfer it to another weapon.

Shouldnt be any issue if upgrading either. Only really have to seperate when sealing it.
