"Duration Expired"

Hello! I am a returning player, I noticed when I checked my inventory (Mainly pertaining to my crafting items" That there is a text that says "Duration expired. I just want to know what that means, or has there been a Major change to some items since I been gone. I done a little research myself, but haven't came to a solid conclusion. Hopefully I can get some clarification. Thank you!

There had been so many changes. crafting, quests, class progression, etc. so yes, If you are a returning player you will see lot of duration expired items.
