lobby chat slang

I'm somewhat new and honestly have no clue what people mean in the chat? I joined a tag team, they said "55" and then counted down before kicking me. I can only assume they were asking my level? I'm 55 but didn't really know what to do lol. Additionally, when someone says "tag daily" do they mean tag match to get the daily quest req?

they probably did ask for you level (although I am rarely in the pvp lobby)... and probably kicked you, cause you said nothing? or you didn't press ready? and yes, "X daily" means daily quest for X, they may ask for silver/gold or something though, I guess that depends (which would be your ranking)..
