Returning player having game start issues

So i am returning after almost a 2 year break give or take, when i update the game and everything (even restarted pc) i open the launcher and then hit "play now", then the small ncsoft box appears with "file repair" and then nothing happens, the game never starts, anyone know how to fix this?
