Very slow performance and load times

Ive downloaded part 1 and am in the process of downloading part 2 but the game says playable.  it takes about 5-10 minutes just to load into the game from windows and the game runs super crappy and i have the turn all the settings down to low-medium.  i have an i5 (dunno which model) and a gtx 1050 4gb version with 8gb of ram.  is something wrong with my pc or do i just need to let part 2 finish downloading before it runs smoothly.  i googled other people with similiar specs and they seem to run the game fine on all maxed settings.

nvm i had the defualt graphic processor set to integrated.
