We need clarification on existing crafting mats

I've heard people say that some things will just disappear.   Like they did for one regions servers.  

Example "Violet Honey Cookie", or "Royal Dye", but costs a lot to make.  These are just the ones I know of.  Will these convert into something new, will expensive to create mates be refunded, or converted.  Will they be sellable after?  Should I quickly craft my charms or just quickly sell my mats to someone who hasnt thought about the changes?
