Returning After Months of Absence - New Accessory Paths??

I stopped playing a few weeks after the release of Shattered Masts, with an Awakened Scorpio weapon and Awakened Oathbreaker accessories, and have begun playing again a few days ago. I have mostly figured out my weapon, and where to go with the new paths and the updates; however, I am confused by the accessories. Do I continue on the Oathbreaker path and further advance normally? Or am I supposed to obtain the new accessories seen in the equipment upgrade tab?

 

Any advice that can shed some light for me is appreciated!

U can still upgrade ur old hongmoon accessoires, bc they'll give 30 jewels each at their end stage. Those jewels cost 20g each and you will need a lot of them to upgrade legendary accessoires. 

 

If u don't have the mats for upgrading your stuff yet, but still want to be well geared, go with the pinnacle accessoires so far and keep ur hongmoon stuff in storage, till u saved enough money and mats.

Basically this, only I'd still recommend upgrading the earring first, because it's far, far better than the pinnacle earrings.

It's better to get the elemental upgrade stone from current event and upgrade the pinnacle earring directly to stage 10 elemental earring.
