New Weapons and accessories path

hey guys, 

 

I came back from a really long break and I'm totally lost in this new system. 

 

I was full true pirate equipped. So I was reading some guides and still don't know what I should do. I got the Ivorymoon Weapon now, I can see the evolve path, sounds good sounds good. 

 

What about the accessories? some told me I'll get it from the main quests but I'm at Chapter 33 in silverfrost mountain. Do I still get them? 

 

Returning/Leveling Players

If you’re a returning player and your weapon is True Scorpio or below, you’ll want to Salvage it to receive your new weapon. As you progress through the game, you’ll use the streamlined weapon upgrade system and new accessories to help you on your path to Legendaries.

What does that mean? Should I really salavage my current weapon? I'm a bit scared to do that. '-' 

 

It would be so sweet if someone can explain me the new stuff >-<. Thanks in forward.

• If you have a true pirate weapon: salvage it to get a awakened ivorymoon weapon stage 6, DONT salvage the ivorymoon weapon!!!

 

• Accessoires:
  • You can get the new ivorymoon accessoires from a vendor in Grand Harvest for silverfrost valorstones

OR

 

• Or you farm the pinnacle accessoires, which are better than the ivorymoon weapon
