New 50 and have some random questions

I just turned 50 and have a few questions that I have not learned the answer to yet:

 

What to you do with purple items that you don't need. Do you use them as evolving pieces even though it costs soulstones? If not, what good are they? I have piles of unopened weapon chests.

 

So now that I am 50, what is new that I should focus on? I am no where near done with the story, but I wondered if at 50 there were some things I should jump right on.

 

How to you make soul shield primers?

 

When people are running dungeons and have AP requirements to join their group, do summoners get to add in their cat ap to their score?

if you are a new play and just reach 50 recently. I suggest you join a good clan to help you out with dungeon. I don't think pug are kind or patient with new players. but, it is only my opinion.

you can salvage weapons you don't need. 

the focus is your decision. I would finish the story because it unlock other dungeons you can do and give decent gold and exp.
