optimization for low end pc help

Is there a way to increase character visibility range with optimization for low end pcs on?

With it activated im getting 200 fps in ssp but the only annoying part is the low visibility range for the npcs/pcs

Mb theres a way to increase it from the files ..i hope someone can look into this cause even though the graphics are from 1999 the performance boost is worth it for sure
