I would just base your Soul Shields on critical hit.

I personally recommend using this build once you reach Lv. 50.

 

You could look at this guide for some reference or something similar.

 

Another note: Be aware that you may get the aggro of the bosses in dungeons, because of your DpS and etc. The only exception is, if you have a good tank in your party.
