Why gems effects icons do not appear?

Hello everyone,
before the effects appear, now the icon effects do not show up when it hits critical, I use the gems (X life drain on critical / X attack on stun/knockdown) but whenever I hit a critical effect does not appear the icon, why? something changed in the update?
