Keyboard and Mouse Lag

I am having extreme issues with keyboard and mouse input.  At times, the keyboard wont respond, and then the mouse wont respond at all either.  Any ideas?

Just noticed, that it happens in open areas (Not instanced or towns) heavily around bamboo lookout

Was it when the servers were lagging like hell?
Cuz as you know, the servers are flooded with returning players

Well truth be told, im new to this game, so as far as returning players I would not know.  Also, the in town part, apparently it happens there as well.
