Game Performance & Combat Optimization mode

Recommended Posts

The original point was that Combat Optimization mode makes the game run silky smooth, but doesn't let you enable better lighting, antialiasing, or shadows etc.  Anyone with any rookie knowledge of game performance knows that post process tends to very small performance hit compared to actual rendering detail.  The char distance/count didn't fix the grass and terrain and detail objects not loading until close to it.
