Gem: life drain or instant recovery? which is better. Please complete explanation. I'm a noob

instant recovery= you recover instantl hp

 

life drain = you drain the enemy hp

instnat recovery means when you crit you recover hp. Life drain when you hit You deal addtional dmg = to the gem and recover that amount of hp. Example 300 instant recovery gem means when you crit you heal 300 hp. 200life steal gem means when you crit you deal 200 aditional dmg + heal 200 hp. Now i think this is good enough explanatioon.If you cant figure it out now ............

Umm... if you read what i wrote . you wouldnt ask that question..And 2nd no it does not the only reason is cause you can enhance the healing efect with REcovery items or items that have Heal stat. Eitherwise read what i quoted.

To give a better explanation:

 

Instant Recovery on Crit heals you more, but your DPS doesn't change.

 

Life Drain on Crit heals you less, but your DPS goes up.

 

LDoC is the better option as you get the best of both worlds, and at 45 you shouldn't really have any sustain issues to warrant the slightly better recovery.

Tell u a secret: people are crazy dont follow them

Max hp instant recovery now is 150 on crit = 1gold +

Max life drain now is 200 on crit = 100gold +

Do u really care about how much more dame u make " Life Drain on Crit heals you less, but your DPS goes up " ???

Just Hp instant recovery. Cheap, useful and friendly :)
