Says "Play Now" but it's still downloading.

When I was originally downloading the game (which was yesterday), I kept getting the "cannot download file" message while I was trying to download it and I kept closing the download and opening it again, each time it opened having less to download. Now every time I open the launcher, it'll continue to download, but I'm able to hit "play now" and get into the game anyways. So it'll continue to download in the background even while I'm in game. Does anyone know if it actually downloaded or is it bugged or something? Should I hit the file repair? I don't wanna not be able to get into the game since downloading it was annoying enough.
