Artisanal Blight Illusion Staff turns into a Bangle...

One of my guild mates has crafted the Artisanal Blight Illusion Staff (Paragon) weapon skin and after the patch it appears to be a bangle... how is such a thing even possible. At the moment hes a summoner using a bangle skin. 
 

 

 

 

 

FIX THIS ASAP PLEASE! A SUMMONER WITHOUT STAFF IS NOT A HAPPY SUMMONER!

did they use the alter appearance option?

I think they simply messed up something with the patch. Since the patch was released it broke somehow and the legendary weapon skin is gone, therefore he got a bangle. Its kinda stupid since a SUMMONER is wearing a BANGLE (FM weapon) and i consider that a major bug when a class can use another class weapon skin.
