Hello guys! I had troubles with the game crashing upon entering new area, windstriding or just a random crash(only game crash, not the entire PC) and low fps during boss fights or in an open large area. I was running the game on the most minimum graphical settings(800x600 res, Optimize for combat and Optimize for low-end PCs) and even without sound. I've tried everything that was suggested in all the internet, but nothing worked. Then I've decided to improve my graphical settings and to see how it will go. On Settings menu, Graphics tab, then Advanced settings I set everything to 3 except Shadow level, Shadow quality and Post processing (left them at 1) and game started to run noticeably better. Played for about an hour afterwards and no crash occurred. I don't know if this will help you guys, but I hope so.
I'm running Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT 512MB 128bit, CPU Core2Duo Celeron E4700 2.66Hz, 3.25 GB of RAM, Windows XP SP3 32-bit
