How does one make money with "The Radiant Ring" profession?

So I am pretty new to crafting and gathering in this game and I have picked up The radiant ring, the stonecutters, the prospectors union and the forgekeepers. But for the gems and keys I can make now with The Radiant Ring I need premium lake mud refiner which if I buy them at the market are more expensive than what I sell the end product for. So what do I make with this profession to make a nice profit?
