Act 2 Chapter 40 crashing me

Anyone got an idea whats wrong? After the cut scene of the giant bird flying me to mushins tomb, i get CTD.

Well that happened to me to ... and 1 day has passed ... and nothing has been done to solve it ... many ppl are complaining about this " disconnect from server " ... and this is starting to get annoying literally i'm getting frustrated and not just me many other ppl also is

Prob just your PC cannot handle the massive amount of particles.

It's been happening to me as well, I've tried waiting for a few hours in front of the altar before trying to enter and yet I still crash. I've turned all my graphics to zero to see if maybe that would help but it didn't. I've already sent in a support ticket but apparently they already know of the problem and will be fixing it in future updates.

 

Update: After keeping my  graphics on low I finally was able to continue with the quest. It took two times crashing with low graphics until it ended up working.
