Limited number of channels?

D: Why are the channels at higher level areas (30+) filled to the brim to the point I can't even change channel?

 

I can't even do dailies because I'm fighting hordes of people/bots/multiboxers. It wasn't so bad a week ago when no one had > 20s but now I'm making another character and its BRUTAL to try and compete for mobs that spawn reaaaaally slowly and only have 4 or so. In an area with about 15 people running around fighting for them.
