Gamepad controller issue

I use a Playstation 4 controller mapped with Xinput, so it is basically being detected as a 360 controller on my computer.

 

The issue is that when using the analog to move the cursor, the cursor will instantly move to another part of the screen.  This has no pattern as far as I can tell and happens sporadically and frequently.
