Ideas for anti-gold spammers

A lot of people have been complaining on the forums recently... how about propose some ideas so NCsoft can fix this issue?

 

e.g. for ever 100 spam reports, one player (bot) will be muted for 2 hours, for every additional 100 spam reports the mute times keeps adding up indefinitely
