Need help with leveling the craft

So I got a few alts up to the point in which they can craft. My issue is that it seems like leveling up will take forever and be super expensive to do. I wanted to know whats the most cost effective way to level up a craft and fastest way to level up the craft. I am seeing where you only get like 1 point of xp on some of these crafts per craft.
