Controls going wonky?

So I'm in the Sentinel Ruins dungeon and twice now my controls have gone weird. The first time it happened the majority of my keyboard controls stopped working but I could still look around and move but none of my attacks worked.

The second time I couldn't look around at all or move but I could attack using the 1234 and zxcv keys (I do have those changed but both worked)

 

Keyboard: Corsair K95

Software: Corsair Utility Engine (not turned on, didn't want to chance the nProtect)

Mouse: some random mouse with dpi settings made in China, no software.

 

Slight update: I managed to fix this by using the escape thing in the menu but I'm still curious on if it's something on my end or if it's a bug in the game.
