Unable to log in after entering PIN number

So I load up the game and I'm asked to enter my PIN, after I have entered my PIN nothing happens. The box disappears and I'm stuck on the title screen where the camera zooms around some lights and a dragon statue. 

Is anyone else experiencing anything similar or does anyone know a workaround?

Same thing happening to me since I got disconnected a while ago.

Anyone knows how to get to the character select screen?
