I can't enable the gamepad

Whenever I tried to enable the option it says that my controller is disconnected and i am pretty sure that  the  controller is connected. I moved  the usb of the controller all over the computer's inputs and still nothing. It only saying that my gamepad is disconnected. How to fix it?

Same here, I've found an altenative though, but it's a little bit more complex than connecting your controller hehe!
