Is NCSOFT NCLauncher supposed to NOT save the Update/Download patch process?

So i got interested in Blade & Soul cause i saw someone play it on youtube and it looks cool! So, i downloaded the Game Launcher and there's an Update/Download Patch and i'm like ok i can wait but uhhh night time came and i needed some sleep so i closed the Game Launcher so i can sleep and the next day i woke up ate breakfast and opened my computer to continue the download (NOTE : i had 5% done) but it came back to 0%. Is that supposed to happen or is it a bug? Pls respond quickly

It is completely normal for the bar to go back down to 0%. B&S takes a long time to download, so I suggest that you leave your computer open if possible and let it download.
