Tips on creating a character name?

SO...all of the names I want are taken. I need suggestions! How do I come up with a good name? I don't really like any of the results that name generators make for me.

Pick a language/region origin and just start looking :) Usually Japanese names are popular though so you might want to avoid those. Also keep in mind that spaces in names will count as repeated.

 

Like, say if someone is named TheYarl in your server already. Even if you put "The Yarl" in your character creation, it will still say the name is taken. Tested it out with my own characters.
