Game installation keeps getting hung

Every time I run the launcher, it goes about applying Update 10 and then stops at about 1% (as the estimated time climbs & climbs).  Took me an hour to finally even get the BnS_Lite_Installer.exe downloaded and then I had to use IE (like, really?) and pause and resume the download about 1/2 dozen times.  I see from the forums that others are having similar issues, but I can't search the forums because my Search bar disappears (Google Chrome user - and I REFUSE to use IE for just searching cuz - REALLY?!?).

 

I was looking into checking this game out but if it continues to have these technical issues, I may just forghettaboutit :(
