Which server and which class to play?

I am wanting to give this game a try so firstly I want to know which server to play on. I speak English and would rather play on a server of people who speaks English as well. Also which class should I choose. I have only played one mmo, Aion, and don't know which class to play. I loved being a cleric, songweaver, and sorcer, and gladiator while playing Aion. I hear that the servers are being locked and I am not in a big hurry to play. Please don't be childish if you decide to reply.
