  1. Probably because I already attend lectures and study for 11 hours a day. Now I'm just gonna sit here memorizing antibiotics interactions for biochem qq save me \o/
  2. orz I'd be fine if they didn't do it on a Friday. Do maints on Monday or something.
  3. I made a custom chat box, can still see party/whisper/clan chat but blocks out everything else.
  4. Why do you think I'm here in the forums to begin with? Most of my play time is in the morning Wednesdays and Thursdays, actually (i.e. right now). I have morning lab on other weekdays and I go to lectures/study for the rest of the day and night. In any case completely blocking out a person's schedule is going to happen regardless of what time slots they use for maintenance, so I can't see that as a legitimate reason to move times. Also, if somehow the ONLY time you can ever play BnS is in a 4 hour slot out of a 168 hour week, that's a problem with your schedule, not
  5. Maintenance is going to average out to about once a week at most. So you miss one day out of seven. It's not like you're going to miss playing the game every single day of your life.....
  6. Not sure what that has to do with anything seeing that this maintenance is cutting into my play-time anyway. Which I have even less of than you because I have bigger obligations most of the day. If you guys are going to talk about whales then there are going to be plenty of them here in the US. I've seen people who spend 5 grand a month on some games because they easily make 7 figures a year.
  7. They probably have a graph of player in-game population at all hours and just picked the time period that's least populated. At least that's what I would do, assuming I was okay with spending any time of the day working
  8. Type in Resource Monitor into your Windows Search, assuming you're on Windows 7/8/10, then click on the Network Tab, then the TCP Connections Tab. Your ping to the Blade and Soul servers will be listed under Latency while you're ingame. You can also go to command prompt and type in ping www.google.com Your ping to the Google servers should be roughly the same as BnS' Anyway bad ping isn't that noticeable in solo play up to around ~200, at least. It will be a problem in parties though.
  9. I don't think even Blizzard's multi-million dollar support team can completely get rid of bots, I don't think NCsoft would do much better.
