I agree that they are professionals. Professional scammers who use quick cashgrab tactics. It's the people who sells a crap in a golden wrapper for 100€ and makes you buy it. They literally don't care about game and it's quality. All of their games are plagued with nonsense
City of heroes? Dead
Tabula Rasa? Dead
Wildstar? Dead
Master x Master? Dead. And they probably proud of that one. Ruined game so badly that it was shut down 6 months after it's release.
Blade and soul? I'm surprised it's not dead. Well,maybe because people are baited with cute graphics, nice character creation and lots of customization options {weapon skins, pets and so on}. That's literally only good things about game. Rest are...well... dungeons...have either too much AP to skip mechs for fast run or you'll have hard time finding group, same goes for weaker raids {Raven, VT,ET}. They just make gap between whales and free players even larger. That's even without mentioning extreme FPS drops,bugs and so on. Want good management example? Look at wow or final fantasy XIV. Damn, I'm pretty sure even some mobile games are managed better than BNS west.
Tbh I wonder...is it possible that low FPS is because... well...insane DPS. Doing millions of damage per second with 12 people might be too much. UE3 isn't suitable for games like this. Still, doesn't matter the issue. Problem is that NCSOFT is doing literally nothing to address the issue.
The fact that you're defending evil corporation like NCSOFT, means one of few:
You are a troll
They pay you
You're in temporary state of obsession with game and you can't see it's flaws.
Also keep in mind: game has literally no content. Except running same few dungeons and 5 raids. There's literally no gathering and crafting. No reason to do anything in world outside dungeons/raids. Oh wait...you can auto fish. Yeah, just leave character to fish 24/7 and go do anything else.
If you hate this game so much then why do you play it?

I don't know about anybody else. Personally all the cheating that goes on completely removes what made this game fun in the first place. Any victory that is gained through an unfair advantage leaves me with no sense of accomplishment. Without that, we might as well be playing Pong.

Bottom line is NS is just too hard for most people to complete now. I tried to run it with a full HM 20+ party AND a lvl 30 player as the tank (only time I've seen lvl 30 tbh). Surprisingly the result was epic failure. And that was just the first boss! I categorize it as "impossible'.

Personally I think people like the OP are just trying to make problems. They love to post exaggerations in hopes of discouraging players. I guess that's the lame kind of world we live in now.

I'm sure NC Soft has plenty of good reasons why they run this game the way they do. All the complainers and quitters seem to think they have better games to occupy their time. If you really do have better games that are run the way you think is right, then go for it. Personally I enjoy this game and I trust the people that run it. No doubt they have to deal with problems that are far beyond my understanding. They are the professionals after all so I leave it to them. Sure, it's easy to criticize them and think you know better but, as players we see a much narrower view of what it actually takes to run a game like this. If you ask me I think it's a miracle they haven't closed this game just to stop all the endless complaining and nasty judgmental comments made by so many "players" (more like trolls). I will continue to play and support Blade and Soul because it is a great game.

I'm feeling like I have been ripped off. I put a lot of time, money, and effort into getting all my gems to triangular gilded level. Especially money. Now they are giving them away for free?
Not cool!
Upgrading to square gilded is not worth the cost or the effort. I also don't like how all the people that exploited the Bamboo Village merchant now have massive amounts of power and the honest people that didn't exploit get nothing to even things out. This game is supposed to reward effort not laziness and/or dishonesty.

I didn't "blame" my ISP to feel better as you suggest. They had to replace 400 feet of badly damaged co-ax cable. I know this sounds crazy but what was actually causing the unpredictable sporadic performance was due to many years of squirrels, rats, or who knows what chewing the insulation off of the cable exposing the internal wires. Apparently these types of critters tend to urinate as they move. The random urination was shorting out the signal to the woven sheath that supplies ground. Then it would evaporate and return to normal. This was only obvious after looking at the old cable after they pulled it down off the pole. This could be a very isolated problem but considering I live in Los Angeles I'm thinking it could possibly be a problem for many. They sent technicians to my house six times before one of them bothered to go up the pole and actually look at it. Three weeks later they came and replaced it. Talk about a low tech problem, lol. Works perfect now.

It's hard to believe how many people exploited this situation. Some of us did the right thing. Some of us resisted the temptation. In my opinion anyone that took advantage of this, and then lost legitimately gained items, kinda deserves it.

The first thing I did was check all that stuff. I haven't changed anything on my char for at least 4 months (when I hit HM 21). Just wanted to verify. Thanks.

I don't know about anybody else but I live on the west coast and I haven't noticed any difference while playing. I wasn't even aware that they moved the server until reading about it here. I don't use BnS Buddy either, never have needed to. Hard thing to figure out because it all makes no sense. On the subject of whales: From what I have read on this forum, I would think whales leaving is good, right?

Ok, maybe I am lucky. Maybe I also spent 1 year complaining to my service provider until they actually sent someone to fix it. I just keep wondering if it bothers you that much then why don't you play one of the "decent" games? Personally I think Blade and Soul is pretty good game. I tend to trust that the people that created it have good reasons for everything they do(or don't do). They must be doing something right because I'm still playing it. Even if they make things harder to achieve I don't mind because when I finally do reach that goal I get a bigger sense of accomplishment.

I think people complain way too much. If you don't like the game as much as you say then go play a different game. The problem is most of the other games out there are comparably horrible and/or boring (or charge a monthly fee). It may not be perfect but Blade and Soul is still a great game that in my opinion is the most fun to play for free. Every time I read these forums I see so many problems that I have not experienced for a long time. Been playing the NA server since the first day it opened and 90% of the time my game has run perfectly. The 10% it didn't was caused by a problem at my end. Everyone blames the server but if it's the server how do I get perfect game play now? I'm pretty sure that would be impossible, right? I fixed the problem at my end and I have been problem free for almost two years now. No lag, No DC. I tried to share how I fixed the problem but people laughed at me. It makes me think that there are many people that are just saying anything they can think of to make the game look bad. Maybe these people work for competitors in the game industry? I wouldn't be surprised. Integrity no longer exists in this world. I posted a genuine, tangible fix that completely solved all problems for me and it was immediately dismissed as foolish. It all seems very agenda driven.

Just give every player 1000 each of the exploited items and 100k gold. That will equalize things again.

Good story line, great combat design, large variety of dungeons, good character design, many quests, good party matching system.
I should also list "no lag", but that has only been since I fixed the problem on my end (about 1 year ago). Flawless game play ever since.

I have zero problems with this game. Plays beautifully for me. Why does it seem like you are just trying to get people to go to FF14?

Not sure what you are talking about. I have never been "stuck" at a level. Currently I am HM 20 with about 90% toward HM 21. What do you consider "alot" of money? I buy $20 worth of NCcoins once and a while but that's not what I would call a lot of money. These people do need to make a living after all. I can't help but wonder why you wouldn't give them as little as $1?
