When you download the Client a window will apear, asking you where to place it. You usually just have to manually change the directory. If you´ve already installed the client deinstall it and change the directory either like I´ve written or do so when it asks where to place it.

 

The Beta will ask for a location, but that silly NCLauncher always defaulted to C: on my system with no prompt to select location.  Keep up the great work, I see you helping alot of people.  /salute

Sweet Jeebus it went through, i had to freaking turn on Run this program in compatibility mode for : Windows XP (Service Pack 3)?!

And select privilege level!  I don't know which one did it but I'm on the character creation screen :D

This was in the last txt file thats made with the dmp.  Made a temp user and made it an administrator and it gives me this. 

This time I told it where to intall the pre-downloaded full version and then coppied the full version to that location... no go the, the launcher or the Blade & Soul CBT shortcut it makes after installing just won't go.

Well I torrented the full game install and it is definatley something wrong with the launcher, I press login and it closes out and leaves a dmp file saying there something wrong with MS C++, but if I trying it on a user account that isn't my admin account it says Access_Violation

I'll give this a go, glad I updated my speed to 40mb, I'll let ya know in about 35-45 minutes whether or not it nukes my system or I'm in the process of making a new character.

Hi i seem to be haveing a issue where i install the launcher client.It updates the ncsoft launcher but when i go to log in my ncsoft account info it just closes no error nothing in the task maniger nothing it just stopes all function ive tried every thing talked about in this thread with no luck yet. I have reinstalled i have ran as admin i have restarted the pc multiple times after each diffrent attempt im just at a lost currently any help on this matter would be greatly appricated.

Check your NCWest folder in program files(x86) see if there is a file ncLauncheR 2015-10-29-xx-xx.dmp  (x is the time you tried to launch) there should be a txt file with the same same that should say info like my post.  See what it says and we can compare.

Mines doing the whole heres the login, and then its gone thing.  I check the launcher folder and it makes a DMP file

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the Microsoft C++ installations and no avail. I've rebooted and in redownloaded the installer and launcher individually.  The only thing I can think of is the launcher always goes to the C: drive without option to choose install location and my OS is on a 64gb SSD and theres is very little room on it.
