have you got vsync on if so turn that off and cap your frames to a certain level because with the ue4 engine the game and in this case your gpu is trying to keep up with your refresh rate cq fps to what your monitor can handle this happened to me in adifferent ue4 engine game and my gpu was 87degrees celsius just in the menu!!!! just to add a note i upgraded my cooling in my case and it didnt do ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ and then i found out the thing descibed above try it and hopefully it works for you like it did for me

maybe stupid question but have you tried uninstalling the game trough configuration screen and see if that takes care of the files that you are stuck with if so redownload the launcher and install game again hope this works

sorry to say im not but i guess thats it for me for the game because of amazing freezing stuttering and frame drops from 60 to 28 to 45 and so on good luck getting this game to work again to everyone but im out too much frustration

this game after the update to ue4 is running very poorly i was having fun and no issues in ue3 but this is ridiculous skipping from 61 fps to 42 and then freeze and stutter back to 61 after that it starts all over

i guess you preloaded the update and uninstalled the ue3 version maually if so this also unistalls the whole update to ue4 engine so you will have to reinstall the ue4 version to be able to play and i know this because it happened to me
