  1. hello forums. any other news about this yet?
  2. UE4 update has completely resolved the issue. Thank you!
  3. dang... this blows. my situation is really not so good for using keyboard & mouse to game with. my room is small. i am right handed, and the keyboard sits on the right side of mouse. well, that would be very difficult to play games like that! all-in-all, just not an ideal situation for me to game like this. i will eventually be trying things like steam or even padstarr.
  4. damn... i keep hoping that one of these days i will wake up and the issue will go away... it hasn't... but maybe that is just because i don't believe in unicorns. :( *prays the UE4 update will come out this year... *prays the UE4 update will fix it**
  5. framerate differences with an iGPU can vary wildly. while the OP states they have an i7, they don't state exactly which CPU. also, keep in mind that an iGPU is also heavily influenced by RAM too. if he only has one stick of RAM, or slow RAM, that can cause a major drop. plus there are graphical settings and resolution to take into account. personally... i have an i7-8700k and two sticks of RAM installed. playing at 1680x1050 and all settings to the lowest + low-end PC mode enabled gets me around 25~30FPS. in the end, disabling the iGPU shouldn't have any adverse effect on the PC. either... A.) the OP doesn't actually have a display plugged into the RTX or B.) somehow Windows is being forced to use a display adapter that isn't present, which doesn't make sense. or C.) something else entirely. but i wouldn't know where to start. i suppose one thing they could do is run dxdiag and see if any problems can be noticed. another thing to try is to download and install the DirectX 9.0c Redistributable. something else that might be possible... he has a display plugged to both display adapters, but because the RTX isn't installed correctly it might not be operating. it could be a PSU issue, or something as simple as not having the power cord plugged to the RTX. or maybe has the RTX in a x4 slot instead a x16 slot, but that should only degrade performance.
  6. you might have your desktop set to use the iGPU, or even both GPU's. right click on desktop and click Display settings. if you are using Multiple displays, it should be obvious. scroll down to Advanced display settings and click it. there is a drop down box starting with something like Display 1. go through the list to find out exactly which display your RTX is using. go back to Display settings and configure from there. either set the display your RTX is using to the main display, or set it to only show on that display. to me it sounds like either whatever display your RTX is using is not set as the main display, or you don't even have a display connected to your RTX in the first place. if it is the latter, you can look on the back of your PC to find out. if wanting to use the RTX, connect to a port lower on the back of the PC. the iGPU port will most likely be upwards somewhere near your keyboard and mouse. other then that, i don't know. good luck!
  7. the same thing happens with or without BnSBuddy. ( i only first tried using BnSBuddy in an attempt to resolve the issue. ) i can completely format/wipe my system and all drives and download fresh the game through NCLauncher2 and the issue is still there without ever touching anything else. and that is on a completely fresh system... the only thing having been done was blocking Windows Updates, install latest GPU drivers from Nvidia, install NCLauncher2 and game. again, i have tried this multiple ways... with and without Windows Update... different driver versions and such, from Windows and from official sources... well, i have seriously re-installed Windows more times in the past 2~3 weeks than i ever have previously throughout my entire life. no joke! well... i am out of options. there is clearly something wrong with the game(s). i don't know what the developers or games could have in common, but they did something the same or similar and the game(s) is having the issue because of it. i can tell you this... i dug out my old laptop and it too has the same issue with both games. further more... i took my PC over to a friends house and having the same exact issue. plus he has THREE different computers, and the issue is there on them all. he also has two different ISP's... a landline and a satellite provider. between all his computers and using different ISP's, the issue is STILL there. i use Spectrum for my landline and he uses Cincinnati Bell. so, that is fiber vs cable and issue is still there. ( and again, i have also tried things like ExitLag and ProtonVPN ) i forget what he said his satellite provider is. ALSO, he has a machine that runs Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and still the issue is there. FURTHER MORE... i have also downloaded the TW client and connected to the TW server... yup, you guessed it... still the same issue. the only similarities between Blade & Soul and BLESS Online i can see is that they are both MMORPG's and are made with Unreal Engine 3. however, between 3 different ISP's and atleast 5 different PC's, the issue is still persistent. and at the same time, i am unable to reproduce the issue while playing Unreal Tournament 3. UT3 is Unreal Engine 3 too. i also can't reproduce in UT3 while playing online matches. i can only conclude there is something wrong with the game(s). i personally don't understand it... it should be impossible. i know other people don't have the issue, but why me? am i just cursed? again... 3 different ISP's and at least 5 different PC's of different configurations... i just don't understand it. it makes ZERO sense. i guess the only thing to do is hope the Unreal Engine 4 update fixes this. FML, just FML.
  8. i wouldn't even bother revealing... thank you!
  9. okay! i am not sure what the problem was, but after some lots of doing... it seems to be resolved. all i did was clean install Windows. i am pretty certain my drivers were already previously up-to-date. well... i don't know why, but it doesn't seem to happen anymore. thank you everyone! ^_^
  10. dang... well, i have uninstalled this game twice in the past due to this issue. figured i would try again, but ask about the issue before bothering with yet another download. however, i can't even seem to figure out how to get the game anymore. i got the NCSOFT launcher 2 thingy. got everything seemingly working, but the launcher isn't giving me any kind of option to download/install/play the game. something is broken :( oh wells... i will try again another time. maybe they have everything fixed another time. none-the-less, thank you for your response! ^_^
  11. hello. so, when playing the game on the first time launching everything is okay. i stick a solid 59/60 FPS with no issue. however, if i close the game and want to play again later the FPS dumps to an erratic 40~50FPS. the only i have found to resolve is to reboot the PC. is there any other way to fix this without restarting the PC?
