As stated by Hime, the community manager, here: It appears that the upgrade costs will be changed. I would like to argue against changing the costs now after 2 weeks of these costs being live. People who have already upgraded got to take advantage of these prices while the people who have not yet upgraded will be forced to wait significantly longer. This punishes players who cannot afford to rush upgrade immediately. Please change your mind and do not touch the upgrade costs. I understand that the costs were not intended to be like this but is it so bad to just leave the costs as is as a "happy" accident? I doubt many people were complaining about how low the costs were but I can say for sure that many people will complain about increasing costs on an upgrade path that people were already able to take advantage of.
