Clan Ranks?

I was looking up how to level a clan, and I see a certain numbers of clan members are required for ranks and that's fine. I just want to know what if a bunch of people suddenly left my clan and now I don't have the required members, would my clan go back down in level? Thank you for your help, I looked everywhere so far...
