Game message wont go away.

Like the title saying, I created a new character and I have a message about side quests giving exp blah blah blah, but the message wont go away, I completed the 2 side quests in bamboo village as well as logged off my character and quit the game but the message is there upon coming back in. anyone have any suggestions to fix this? Kinda sucks having it in the middle of my screen constantly when trying to play.
