Game settings keep resetting no matter what

Hi,  

So there is that annoying bug where every time I close my game settings reset.

I tried to change attributes of .xlm file to 'Read-only' but it keeps overwriting it. I had game both installed on C: and D: but it didn't matter. 

I also don't have OneDrive installed on my pc nor some weird names for my hard drives(it's all in English). 

Do you have any other solutions?

Please help.
