No Splash screen, client.exe just sits there

This has been an on/off issue since I started playing again earlier this month.

 

I click "Play Now" and then nothing. "client.exe" just sits in the task list. Gameguard pops up and closes, but no splash screen. I've tried:

 

- Closing all programs

- Removing VC++ 2005 Redistribs

- Put my computer in the DMZ.

- Deleting GameGuard folder and forcing a redownload.

- Reinstalling the game completely

- Installing the game on a different hard drive (It wasn't on my system drive, now it is).

 

What really sucks about this is gameguard is such a piece of SHIT I can't just taskkill the process (Access is denied cause of the shitty hidden gameguard process), I have to restart my entire computer to even attempt to get it working again.

 

So here I am, I've restarted my computer 6 times in the last hour and can't even play.

Any Ideas?
