The +35 AP Gem and Crit Def?

First i would like to start out by asking can the +35 attack power gem from blackwyrm  be upgraded in future? all i see is the hongmoon one which we don't have yet and also  if its worth buying it now  or obtaining it when they release the hongmoon one with what ever event they plan on.

 

Another Thing i noticed after yesterdays fix with the character info  when i put on my PVP Soulshield set i have like 180% dmg reduction in the (P)  but when i search myself it shows i have like 60% to other people? this is confusing. I'm not sure if this is just a display error or what but  just curious.
