Is there a way to disable wet rain effect on screen camera?

I've just started today, finished the first few cutscenes and there was this bad water effect from the rain, the screen was basically covered with rain drops/water from the rain like it was glass... it made the screen and what is happeening hard to see and thanks to that I couldn't really tell wtf was going on because of that water effect. Is there a way to disable that somehow? I don't want to see anything like this future in the game, it covers the screen too much and makes it hard to see what is going on therefore ruining immersion.
